Are You Getting Some Runs In?
It's been hot and humid in San Diego and feels almost more tropical than the weather in Hawaii where I visited a couple weeks ago. Recently I was asked "Are you getting some runs in?" The answer is a resounding YES!
Just finishing up week 6 of training. When you run marathons, you really have to put in the training, otherwise you'll pay for it, either with injury or just having a bad race. What works for me is to print out my training plan, post it in a prominent spot, and cross off the runs, one by one.
The long runs are never easy. Fortunately, I get to train in different neighborhoods around San Diego to help pass the time :)
