This week I took part in a day-long excursion to the Valle de Guadalupe with a group from the Urban Land Institute Women's Leadership Initiative. It was a great way to connect with some of the women I had met before and make new connections too! It was quite the day - beautiful landscape, delicious wine and exquisite cuisine, even getting caught in the rain!

Last night at the Coronado Island Film Festival, I had the good fortune to attend Leonard Maltin's Celebrity Tribute in the Crown Room at the Hotel Del Coronado. I even sat at the same table as Leonard, world renowned for his movie guidebooks and his 30-year run as movie critic on Entertainment Tonight.
