The Current Mantra - Balance Between Effort and Ease

I am excited for an upcoming milestone at my yoga studio - my 500th class since the current reward tracker started. Similar to how I celebrated my milestone birthday early, I think I’ll post about this milestone which I’m confident will be reached within the next 30 days.

It’s great to achieve a goal of showing up to my mat at the studio most days. More rewarding are the physical, mental and spiritual benefits received.

What I actually find difficult about the practice is setting an intention at the beginning of class as well as staying present and not thinking ahead to what I’ll be eating for lunch or cooking for dinner.

I love when a teacher provides an intention, the latest to consider the balance between effort and ease. Both allow you to grow or progress your practice, though surprisingly, easing up and surrendering to how things unfold can enable you to achieve what previously had been unattainable.
