I was excited to learn that Lyndon B. Johnson’s Presidential Library was located in Austin, Tx. When pre-planning for our short trip to Austin, this was one of two places on the must-visit list. Of course, the modern architecture style of the library was a draw for me, too!

Read MoreIt’s very easy to turn a staycation into a mini-architecture field trip! This one was designed around a stay at the Century Plaza Hotel designed by Minoru Yamasaki. There were many other noteworthy architectural buildings near the hotel including the iconic Century Towers, also by Yamasaki.
