Whenever asked "Any plans for the weekend?", I pause to think as I tend not to count the usual - training runs, yoga, time with daughter - as plans. The usual may be a lot to some, so perhaps the answer is always "Yes!".

At the last minute before leaving home for the Salk, I packed the napkin sketch that I bid on at the NewSchool of Architecture fundraiser last year. It was an unusual one as sketches go, more like origami than a pen and ink sketch but it had been created by Billie Tsien. I thought if I had a moment with her at TSRI that we could take a photo together.
