J and I were recently in Cambridge, Massachusetts where I had an opportunity for a brief architecture moment on campus at Harvard University. That’s right - I could just pick one place to photograph and I chose the Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts.
As Le Coubusier’s only structure in North America, this was an excellent choice!

A couple years ago, I felt an urgency to visit Cal Poly Pomona campus before an iconic building on campus was demolished.
There was another building I specifically wanted to see too, a late mid-century designed by Carl Maston.
So, two that I had on the must see list and anything interesting above and beyond would be a bonus. That’s how a field trip is planned.
